Tiny Shamrocks

These days I'm never lacking for a project.  I'm working on some tiny shamrocks to make garland.  These little things hurt my hands and a break is needed often.
You can find the pattern for these here.  They are so cute...the possibilities are endless.

Crocheting Away..Elf Hats

I have been crocheting a lot.  I have so many projects going that I forget to take pictures and post them.  I get one done and am excited to start the next.
These are the cutest little elf hats that take me an evening to whip up.  I love how some projects can come together so quickly.  It makes up for the ones that seem to take forever....like some military slippers I will be working on I'm sure for the next 8 months for a few nephews.

More Pillow Love

I never get tired of making pillows.
I'm not sure what number pillow I'm on.
There were times I wasn't sure of the colors on this one but the more I looked at it, the more I liked it.
Pictures don't do it justice...not that I take good pics anyways. :)

Round Crochet Table Top

This project took me a couple evenings.
Because I decided I didn't need to follow a circle pattern, I ended up having to rip some rows out here and there.
Live and learn.
Sometimes it's easier to follow a pattern...especially for a circle.

I picked some lovely roses from my garden to put in a jar and place it on top.  I think it looks lovely!
These little roses and chives are the two things I know I can get to grow in my garden.

Evening Project #2

I was able to come up with another quick evening project.
I made an ugly lampshade into a thing of beauty.
It really cheers up the room.

Adding Some Color to My Kitchen

Last night I wanted to be creative.  I didn't want to start a project that would take me days or weeks though...so I looked around and saw my container holding my spoons, spatulas etc.
I thought about how boring and dull it looked.

So I spruced it up with some crocheting.
I think it looks colorful and cute now!

It adds a splash of color to my counter.

Newborn Hats

After we got back from Florida I was in a newborn phase.
For therapy I came home and whipped up some of these cute newborn hats.
There is just something special about a new little baby.

We can't forget about newborn boys.

....we didn't bring her home but we have the privilege to pray for her every day.
Emma and her special moment.

Beaded Bracelets

I have been working on crocheting some bracelets.  I love working with the finer material and the beads.

You can find instructions here.
You can use cotton thread or waxed linen.  I like working with the waxed linen.
You can find waxed linen at this store.

A Naughty Dog, a Sweet Girl & a Cute Project

I came into the room the other night & look what I found.
We've lost all control.
Lily is queen in this house.  ha!
She thinks she is the boss of everyone.  I try to tell her she is not but she never listens.
As you can see, she even has James trained.  He is just sitting there letting her get away with being on my table!
I don't even know what she is thinking.

Daisy is the perfect size for Emma.  Emma loves giving her loving.

Of course, Emma needs lots of snuggles to.

She is a sweetheart and is always loving on her baby dolls.

Don't you think she looks sweet?
Look at those big brown eyes.  Can't get enough of them!

We are ready for spring here.  I can't wait to open up the windows and let Emma play outside on her swing set!   It's coming....just a little wait longer.
Here is a sneak look at what I've been working on.
Don't you think they will look so cute in a basket?

Perfect for little hands to.
You can find the pattern here.

Pillow Love

I love crocheting little granny squares & putting them in little piles.

Then I crochet them together with a little help from sweet Daisy.

They turn into these little pillows that are just to cute.

Russian Dolls

I love these Babushka dolls that I'm crocheting.
They take patience and I've had to learn some stitching but the time into them has been so worth it.

Instructions for these and other cute projects can be found in this book...http://www.amazon.com/Cute-Easy-Crochet-Adorable-Projects/dp/1907563202/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1327801376&sr=8-1

Creative Inspiration

I needed to be inspired to get back into the groove of doing some projects & being creative.
So, I went through and here are just a few pictures of what I finished in 2011.
I've got a long list of things I'd like to make this year so hopefully this inspires me.
Maybe it will inspire you to.
